City of Sacramento Arena Event Use Application

If you are interested in applying for the opportunity to host a City Event at the Golden 1 Center in accordance with the Arena Event Policy , please review the policy in full and, complete and submit the following application. All applications will be reviewed to ensure compliance with the Arena Event Policy and the Arena Management, Operation and Lease Agreement (“AMOLA”), and the submission of an application does not guarantee approval or arena use.

For purposes for the Arena Event Policy, and under the AMOLA, an event is an applicable City Event only if all of the following are met:

 

CITY CIVIC EVENT (9 available per Operating Year) :

  • The event is sponsored or co-sponsored by the City
  • If the event is ticketed, any financial benefits are retained by the City or distributed to a non-profit, civic, or other community organization
  • The event is civic or charitable in nature or is conducted or presented as a service by the City to its residents or a non-profit organization.

CITY MINOR EVENT (24 available per Operating Year) :

  • The event is a City meeting, luncheon, banquet, seminar, or other similar event.
  • Attendance is limited to 450 individuals.
