The Sacramento Fire Department’s Prevention Unit has developed an engaging and educational fire safety presentation geared toward 2nd graders. We can show children what to do if there’s a fire and ways to prevent fires from starting. We can empower your students with essential fire safety information and skills that can make a big difference in case of an emergency. By sharing this information while children are young, we are instilling lifelong fire safety habits.
- Presentation should be requested at least 3 weeks prior to event date.
- Presentations will be arranged according to staff and resource availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- The crew is on duty and may be called to an emergency at any time.
- All presentations will be approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
This program can only be a success with your help. Our ultimate goal is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to be able to keep safe during an emergency situation and to learn how to prevent such tragedies from occurring at all.
