If you’re interested in using clips from the Center for Sacramento History’s (CSH) film collection, please submit this form. Only a small number of our films are digitized and online. Please review the access points to our collections to help find what you need.
CSH will contact you within 5 business days of receiving this form. We respond to film requests in the order they are received. The time from initial inquiry to receiving digital files can take several weeks – please plan accordingly.
After we receive your request, staff will research our holdings for your requested content if necessary, then provide you with a URL or screener to view the content and ask for timecodes from you if they have not already been provided. We will then send the requested content to our preferred digitization vendors for transfer to a broadcast-quality format at which time you will need to sign our license and indemnification agreements and provide payment for our services. See our policies and fee structure. After signed agreements and payment are received, we will release the digitized content to you.
