All entries must be in position and ready by 10:30AM.

Each entry shall be responsible for the conduct of all its participants.

All entries must check-in upon arrival and will be directed to their assigned staging area.

All units entries must keep a representative with the entry at all times within the assigned staging area.

The use prior to and/or possession during the parade of any alcoholic beverage, by any unit/entry member, is strictly forbidden.

This is a forward motion parade. No backward motion is permitted. All units must keep pace with the unit in front of them and maintain a safe distance. Parade entries must proceed all the way past the end of the parade route before stopping and unloading.

Children riding on a float/trailer/vehicle must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Floats should be constructed with fire resistant materials.

All drivers must be licensed. You must have proof of liability vehicle insurance for each vehicle.

I agree to have photographs, films, videotapes or tape recording taken of my organization registered under my signature while participating in the City of Sacramento programs. I permit these photographs, films or tapes to be released to be used in publications, promotional materials, web site, and for other public information purposes by the City of Sacramento.

The Responsible Party agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and save harmless, the City of Sacramento, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from and against all actions, damages, costs, liability, claims, losses, judgments, penalties and expenses of every type and description, including, but not limited to, any fees and/or costs reasonable incurred by the City of Sacramento’s staff attorneys or outside attorneys and any fees and expenses incurred in enforcing this provision (hereafter collectively referred to as “Liabilities”), to which any or all of them may be subjected, to the extent such Liabilities are caused by or result from any negligent act or omission or willful misconduct of the Responsible Party in connection with its participation in the City of Sacramento Veteran’s Day Parade. This shall be a continuing release and shall remain in effect until revoked in writing.
